Waikato U19 Men win first-ever U19 National Title at IPC

Volleyball Waikato wishes to congratulate to our Waikato U19 Men’s team for taking out the IPC Championship title with a stunning 3-1 victory over a juggernaut Harbour team in the finals! This is the first ever U19 title for our region.

The team showed immense grit and composure, coming from behind in both the first and second sets to take early control of the match. After dropping the third set, the boys bounced back with a dominant performance in the fourth, building a strong lead and finishing in style when it mattered most. Every player stepped up and delivered under pressure - a well-deserved and hard-fought victory!

Congratulations extend to Shae Asiata, Bjorn Fitch and Liam Smith for being named in the tournament team. Liam Smith was named the overall tournament MVP.
