Te Awamutu College take out King Country Championships

Congratulations to Te Awamutu College for winning both the Junior and Senior grades of the King Country Volleyball Championships today.

The Te Awamutu Senior Blue team defeated last year’s champions Taumarunui High School in a close semifinal before overcoming their counterpart Te Awamutu Senior White in the finals. Meanwhile, the the Te Awamutu Junior team defeated Otorohanga College in their final clash.

Thank you to everyone for your efforts today. It was especially great to see so many teams and schools attending this year. We look forward to next year’s event.
