Midlands League InformationWelcome to the 2008 · May 10th Tauranga · May 24th · June 7th Rotorua · June 21st · July 5th Rotorua Who can enter? Any teams from clubs in the Midlands area, plus teams from the North Harbour, Auckland & Manukau areas, plus other teams by application.
How it will work: The plan is for costs charged (see below) to cover the cost of hiring the venues, shared among the teams, with a very small amount for administration. Teams can be entered for individual tournaments ($40 per team per tournament) or for the whole competition ($200 per team). Teams will earn standard points towards the Mens & Womens League tables when they play matches, so there will be a winner of the League after the 5 tournaments. If at all possible teams will play 2 games and have 1 duty per playing Saturday (exceptions to this may be home teams having only one game, but we will try to avoid this. If a new team wishes to enter at any stage for one or more tournaments, that is no problem.
